Roma Jewelry Week, an international event that promotes and celebrates contemporary, designer, artist, and historic goldsmith culture, returns to the capital for its fourth edition.
My Participation
My piece, Eternal Reminder, was selected for the PREMIO INCINQUE JEWELS 2024, an international contest and exhibition of contemporary jewels.
The Premio Incinque Jewels is organized by the Cultural Association Incinque Open Art Monti, based in Rome, and curated by architect Monica Cecchini, the project's creator and director. The ring Eternal Reminder, along with works from various artists, was exhibited at an exclusive archaeological/historical site in Rome on October 4, 5, and 6, 2024.
The competition aims to celebrate and showcase talented contemporary jewelry artists, demonstrating that contemporary art and creativity coexist with technology, innovation, and tradition, resulting in unique and precious jewels that tell stories.
The theme for the Premio Incinque Jewels 2024 is Infinite Baroque, inspired by the Baroque period and Galileo Galilei's Il Saggiatore. This concept explores humanity's search for meaning in an infinite universe, blending scientific revolution with artistic expression that emphasizes illusion, wonder, and the beauty of imperfection. The jewelry created will reflect these ideas, embracing inclusiveness, various techniques, and the balance between aesthetics and content.
