Rising from the deep
In the "Scarred yet free" collection, each piece embodies the duality of constraint and freedom, capturing the essence of resilience and transformation. Through the medium of charcoal, representing the scorched remnants of past trials, these pieces reveal the beauty and light that can arise from adversity.
The charcoal elements, dark and raw, contrast with the shimmering highlights of precious metals, stones and pearls, symbolizing the enduring light of the human spirit.
It serves as a constant reminder that even in the face of hardship, one can emerge with strength and brilliance.
Rising from the Deep, from the Scarred Yet Free collection, was featured alongside Ashes to Bloom and Eternal Reminder in the collective exhibition Emerge, part of the Lisbon International Biennial of Contemporary Jewelry in 2024.
